Laboratory Applications
We provide water purification solutions for a variety of laboratory applications.
Find the right water purification system for your application:
Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) measures the absorption of light by gaseous free metallic ions. The technique is used to determine the total concentrations of individual elements in a sample.
Select
Cell and Tissue Culture
Cell culture is the process by which cells are grown under controlled conditions, generally outside their natural environment. After the cells of interest have been isolated from living tissue, they can subsequently be maintained under carefully controlled conditions.
Select
Clinical Biochemistry
Clinical biochemistry encompasses a wide range of in vitro chemical and biochemical assays that are performed on patient samples to provide diagnostic and prognostic information.
Select
Electrochemistry
Electrochemistry: the study of chemical changes of particles caused by the movement of electrons from one element to another. Is your pure water adequate?
Select
Gas Chromatography
Gas chromatography is one of the most sensitive and commonly used analytical techniques for the separation and determination of various compounds.
Select
General Laboratory Water
Water is used across the lab in a plethora of different techniques and applications. From glassware washing to autoclave filling, water is a common reagent.
Select
ICP-MS and ICP-OES
ICP-MS is the most sensitive way of determining multiple elements in liquids. Solutions are atomised and ionised in a high energy plasma and the resulting ions measured by mass spectrometry. ICP-OES uses the light emitted from the plasma to determine the elements present.
Select
Immunochemistry
Immunochemistry covers both the function of the immune system and the use of immunoassay technologies for research and diagnostics.
Select
Liquid Chromatography (LC)
Liquid chromatography (LC) is used to separate mixtures of species in solution. They can then be detected by sensitive techniques including mass spectrometry and UV spectrophotometry. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Ion Chromatography (IC) are the most common LC methods used.
Select
Microbiology
Microbiological analysis is the use of biological, biochemical, molecular or chemical methods for the detection, identification or enumeration of microorganisms in a material. It is often applied to disease causing and spoilage microorganisms.
Select
Molecular Biology
Molecular Biology is the study of the composition, structure and interactions of cellular molecules – such as nucleic acids and proteins. Genetics is concerned with the study of genetic variation, and heredity in organisms. Histology is the study of the microscopic anatomy of cells and tissues.
Select
Spectrophotometry
Every compound will absorb or transmit light over a certain range of wavelengths, and so that this can be used to measure the amount of a known chemical substance.
