CENTRA R200
Centralized Purification and Distribution Systems
CENTRA has revolutionized the way that large volumes of pure water are produced, stored and distributed. The CENTRA R-200 is a complete water purification, storage, control, and distribution system providing Type I (Ultrapure), Type II and Type III pure water. Featuring 200 liters per hour reverse osmosis module and 0.2 µm filter.

"We had been spending a lot on consumables from point of use systems across our laboratory. It took our time to replace consumables regularly too which impacted on our workflow. By having a centralised system we removed all of those issues, it has made our lab so much more productive."

Features
- Compact design provides more flexible installation options for new buildings and refurbishments. The CENTRA’s small footprint means that it can be placed closer to the laboratory, avoiding the negative cost and design implications of long pipework loops.
- Reliable, continual supply of pure water using unique access controls, leak detection systems and full AV alarms with optional building management system (BMS) connectivity.
- Optimized inorganic water quality through the use of in-line purification technologies. Recirculated water is UV treated, filtered and (if fitted) can be improved through deionization
- 200 l/hr of purified water available at up to 30 l/min from a distribution loop. A wide range of water purities are possible from RO permeate up to 18.2 MΩ-cm Type I purity
- Low microbial counts achieved through vent filtration, spray-ball water distribution and smooth internal surface in the reservoir combined with UV oxidation and 0.2 μm filtration in the loop

Consumables

Increase in airborne contaminants and potential recontamination of purified water

High levels of organics and inorganics remain in the water reducing the functional life of the DI pack

Reduced flow-rates and bacterial specification will not be maintained

Chlorine, chloramine and organics remain, increasing the burden on downstream consumables which will need more frequent and expensive changes

Uncontrolled bacterial contamination and TOC levels are not reduced

Increase in airborne contaminants and potential recontamination of purified water

faqs
- What is the CENTRA R200?
The CENTRA R200 is a purification system designed to feed a whole building from a plant room. It provides RO to type 1 ultra pure water dependent upon the consumables included. Its 200m loop can cover multiple floors or multiple laboratories on a single floor to provide a truly centralised solution. The CENTRA saves space in comparison to competitive products by having an integral 350L reservoir to significantly reduce its footprint.
- What if I need more than 200 L per hour?
If you have the need for higher volumes of water ELGA's distribution network can create a duplex installation to meet your needs, this has the added benefit of providing redundancy to ensure you still have water whilst one system is being serviced.
- How does the CENTRA R200 get type 1 water?
The CENTRA uses an SDI cylinder with a mixed bed resin to remove Ionic content and produce type 1 water.
