PURELAB flex 4
Flexible elegance. An independent system
As the PURELAB flex 4 has a manual-filling capability, it can operate independently from a tap, in temporary locations. The system can be connected to a pre-treated water supply and is particularly suited for small volumes of water where TOC levels are critical and must remain stable.

"After researching various systems and evaluating our primary needs the team decided on the ELGA PURELAB flex 4 system. We have been very happy with this system because it has provided the high-quality water we absolutely needed and the cost was extremely competitive with other major companies."

Features
- Space saving design The compact unit can be placed on the bench or can be wall mounted and has an integrated 7 liter reservoir, ensuring that water is always available.
- Portable system Access on the top of the system gives the option to fill the reservoir with pre-purified water. This means that it can be moved at any time as the lab environment evolves.
- Real-time TOC Monitoring Provides complete confidence in organic purity and clear display at all times.
- Flexible dispenser The intuitive dispenser offers a clear display of the water purity for absolute confidence as you dispense.
- Easy to maintain The front doors ensure easy access to the consumables, making them quick and easy to replace.
- Data capture Data capture via USB for system performance validation and software updates.

Consumables

Increase in airborne contaminants and potential recontamination of purified water

Potential recontamination of purified water and reduced flow rates

Weakly bound ions are released back into the water reducing resistivity

Uncontrolled bacterial contamination and TOC levels are not reduced

faqs
- What is a PURELAB flex 4 system?
PURELAB flex 4 produces ultrapure water (Type I) fed by a pre-purified water source.
- What type of applications are suitable for water dispensed from the PURELAB flex 4 system?
PURELAB Flex 4 is designed for a range of applications including electrochemistry, atomic spectroscopy, ic (Ion Chromatography), liquid chromatography, immunochemistry, hplc, molecular biology, plant tissue culture, electrophoresis & mammalian cell culture.
- What are the benefits of the PURELAB flex 4 system?
PURELAB flex 4 offers customers a range of benefits from being intuitive and easy to use , easy to install and commission, flexible dispensing which allows customers to dispense water into a range of container sizes and shapes. It uses minimal lap space, is easy to operate and maintain and can be used for a wide range of lab applications. Other benefits includes real-time TOC monitoring which is calculated every 2-3 seconds to give a real time TOC reading for maximum assurance; water quality monitoring up to the point of dispense to help ensure valuable parameters are provided at all times and inbuilt periodic recirculation to help minimise biofilm build up which can affect some applications. In addition to these Flex 4 is also designed to be portable and so ideal for temporary locations.
- What is the size of the storage reservoir in a PURELAB flex 4?
PURELAB flex 4 is designed with an integrated 7 litre reservoir.
- What is the difference between a PURELAB flex 3 and 4?
Unlike PURELAB flex 3, flex 4 does not have a RO membrane. It has to be fed with pre-treated water.
